A further frequently asked
question is:
which techniques are integrated into PSDS?

The
answer to this question will always change, because after every course
and through our own trials new experiences are added. That is where
>Progressive Self Defence System< gets its name from! So one finds
techniques from all possible martial arts styles in Progressive Self
Defence System.
It
integrates techniques from, for example
Submission Fighting
– which contains martial arts like Vale Tudo, Wrestling, Shooto,
Shootboxing, Grappling, Free Fighting
Jujitsu
– containing japanese styles like Katsukuma Ryu, Kano Jiu Jitsu, Judo,
Aikido, Aikijitsu, Bujitsu, Taijutsu, Kyokushin Kai, Shorin Ryu, Kempo Pencak
Silat
– like the Mande Muda, Bersilat styles
Chuan Fa
– styles like Wing Chun, Baqua Chuan
Escrima-Arnis-Kali
– including Modern Arnis, Inosanto Kali, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Inayan
Eskrima, Doce Pares, Pananandata, Lameco Eskrima, Stickcombat Arnis
Upright
Fighting
– Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai
Furthermore we use methods from Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do,
Progressive Fighting System, Keysis Fighting Method and many more. As
one can see, this is a very widespread field and the question cannot be
answered in a few sentences.
Since we
always want new input we often invite teachers from different martial
arts styles to give seminars, courses and workshops in the Progressive
Self Defence System state training centre in Kersbach in Upper Franconia
, so we can learn their view of self defence and their fighting methods.
We want to learn and profit from them – independant of style and
organisation.
